Family Camp Usage Policy
-
Family camp usage is based upon the type of cabin used, the number of occupants, whether we need to provide food, and the time/season of usage.
-
Payment in full by credit card is required at the time of booking. Cancellations two weeks or more prior to check-in are eligible for a refund, but will be charged a booking fee of $25. Cancellations made 3 to 14 days prior to check-in are eligible to receive a 50% reimbursement. Cancellations after this time will not be reimbursed (3 days prior to check-in).
-
Check-in begins at 2pm. Family campers should plan to arrive no earlier than 2pm. Check-out by 11am. Family campers may stay past this time but must vacate their cabin and will be charged an additional fee of $5.00 per person for that day’s use.
-
During the Non-Peak Season, we may not be able to provide food for family camp participants. Be sure to inquire about food when you book your stay. Food is always available for purchase during Peak Season periods.
Family Camp Cabin Regulations
-
No cooking in the cabins. Camp fires are only allowed in designated locations.
-
Dogs must be kept on a 6 foot leash at all times. Dogs larger than 30 pounds are not allowed. Only 1 dog will be allowed per cabin. Dogs must be kept quiet at all times. Failure to abide with these rules will result in immediate expulsion from camp without refund.
-
A usage deposit of $25 will be required upon check-in and will be refunded at check-out once the cabin has been checked for cleanliness and damage. Damaged cabins will automatically forfeit their deposit.
-
Renters are required to clean their cabin prior to checkout and all trash must be collected and deposited in the camp dumpster.
-
Quiet policy – To maintain a tranquil atmosphere for all campers, we have established a quiet policy that begins at 9pm. No loud music or loud activities are allowed after this time.
-
No alcohol, firearms, fireworks, drugs, smoking allowed in designated areas.
-
Swimming only allowed in designated areas and only when a lifeguard is on duty.
Cabins: We have three cabin levels – A, B, & C.
-
A-type cabins - have bathrooms and partial and/or complete kitchens. Cooking is allowed some but not all A-type cabins.
-
B-type cabins - do not have kitchens but do have bathrooms
-
C-type cabins - have neither kitchens nor bathrooms. People who use C-type cabins must use the public bathrooms provided and cannot cook in their cabins due to fire regulations.
The family camp rate structure applies for ages 7 and up. Children 6 and under are free. These rates include complete use of the camp. However, use of camp resources (i.e. canoes, game fields, etc.) will be on a first come, first serve basis, and during Peak Season periods, sleepover camp participants have first priority for all resources.
Non-Peak Season (May - June, and September – October)
These rates do not provide waterfront activities (i.e. swimming & boating), and we do not provide a full time camp nurse.
Peak Season (July – August)
These rates are higher because we add waterfront activities with lifeguards, a nurse for the health office, and increased staff to our overhead expense.
